Homemade Brown Sugar

Homemade brown sugar:
8 cups white sugar
1 cup molasses

Mix by hand with a whisk, with hand mixer or by stand mixer if large enough.
Store in airtight container.
Place a brown sugar keeper or piece of bread in container to keep moist.

  1. I just made my first batch of my own brown sugar and you are right it smells soooooooo much fresher. I am waiting for a lingonberry and apple cobbler to cool down that I used it in. I can’t wait to try it.
